The state-run health insurance exchange described in the report would not comply fully with the federal Affordable Care Act, raising the possibility of a federally mandated system, said Gary Stanislawski, R-Tulsa, the task force’s co-chairman. Rep. Glen Mulready, R-Tulsa, is the task force’s other co-chairman.

The debate over whether to go along with the exchange requirement of the Affordable Care Act — “Obamacare” to its opponents — has split the state’s Republican legislators.

Last year three bills to create a legal foundation for a state exchange were proposed and foundered. Gov. Mary Fallin initially accepted a $ 54 million federal grant to build a……….. continues on Tulsa World.
